USGA: 10 Years Later: Cristie Kerr On Her 2007 U.S. Women’s Open Win

Ten years later, Cristie Kerr reflects on her first major championship, a win at the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club.

The 2007 Open was Kerr’s third tournament appearance at Pine Needles. She had seen her performance improve every time.

“I’ve got a pretty good track record there (at Pine Needles),” says Kerr. “It’s amazing. That’s a great golf area. That’s Peggy Kirk Bell’s course.”
