Mid Pines
“The pendulum has swung back to classic golf-course design. People today are trying to build golf courses like Mid Pines. But we have the original.” – Peggy Kirk Bell

Measures a mite shorter than Pine Needles and with a character that’s a tad more hilly, Mid Pines remains exactly as Donald Ross numbered and routed the course in 1921. Impeccably manicured to modern standards, Mid Pines is a classic gem, a rarity among Ross’s masterpieces because it is exactly as he crafted it more than 85 years ago. Even so, this course has played home to many national competitions including the 2002 USGA Senior Women’s Amateur Championship.
