Championship golf doesn’t just visit here. It has a standing reservation.

Like many of our guests, the USGA is a regular visitor to Pine Needles. A
half-dozen USGA championships have played out spectacularly on our fairways.
In 2007, Pine Needles hosted its third US Women’s Open since 1996. Past
champions include Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb. There’s something
about Pine Needles that brings out the best in the best players in the world.
Certainly the quality of golf is a primary consideration when the USGA chooses its Open venues. But the property itself, the accommodations, the staff and services come into play as well. In these areas Pine Needles has demonstrated world-class talent. It’s what keeps the USGA, and our guests, coming back. For more information, visit the U.S. Women's Open Website.
